When you start your Avon journey you're excited about being an Avon Representative and don't listen to your leader and think of your why and also don't write it down. You do some of your classes but not all of them. You don't think they are important .This whole time you have sold to all your family and friends and after the first few campaigns you start to struggle and get frustrated. You dont know why you can't get new customers and you don't understand why all your family and friends don't buy anymore. You have hit a brick wall called the Valley.
You have two choices: sit down and think about what your leader has said to you. Dig deep in your heart and remember why you wanted to sell Avon in the first place. Then start working on your classes and take them to heart. There is so much information and I know you think you know about make up, cologne and people but if your struggling then you don't know as much as you think. I once said to a teacher the classes are your books and the customers are your tests.
Your second choice is to look deep in your heart and see if now is the time to be a Representative. When I started this second time I didn't have a why. My husband signed us up. When he found we couldn't work together the way he wanted us to, he bailed and left the business to me. I struggled for several years because I didn't have a why then i found my ex business partner and I followed her because I didn't know any better. I thought I needed someone to tell me what to do and where to go. Then she quit and I was lost again. I sat on the couch for several months barely keeping my business going.Then I listened to one of Molly's Friday talk replays.I knew then what I had to do.
I dug deep, deeper than I ever had. I had been using my health, family,my husbands lack of support and then the loss of my business partner and excuses as to why I couldn't do this business. My husband wanted me to quit. I knew I didn't want to quit but I still didn't know why not.
I didn't know my why. I knew I enjoyed talking to people. I knew if I didn't I would become a hermit. But that still wasn't my why. My why is because I want to prove to myself and my family I can do this. I had two strokes and doing anything was a struggle. I have fought every step of the way. But I know that I can and will grow. I have strength and determination!

Making your business better
If you aren't making what you want to make, think about these three things.
1). Why are you selling Avon? When you started selling Avon there was some goal you had made. More money, being a stay at home mom, getting free Avon or even a new car. 2). how much time are you willing to put into your business? It could be one hour a day, 5 hours a day or three hours 2 times a week. Whatever it is, be consistent so you customers know when they can expect you. 3) How much money do you want to make each campaign? So if you want to make 200 extra a campaign divide it by 10. You need 20 customers. Think about what your gonna do to get more customers and talk to your team leader or others for ideas.
